how exactly does self-pouring work?
After one of our friendly Beer Ambassadors verifies that you're of legal drinking age, you'll be issued a Pour Pass, which is either prepaid or linked to a credit card. Insert your Pour Pass at the tap of your choice, and pour as much or as little as you desire.
What if i just want to try small amounts of many different beers?
Go for it!
if i don't fill up my glass, will i still get charged for a full beer?
No. Our taps are finely calibrated, and you'll only be charged for the precise amount you pour. It's like pumping gas, only tastier.
How does Red Arrow ensure responsible alcohol consumption?
Once you've reached the designated pour limit, your Pour Pass automatically shuts off. Staff members, each trained in safe alcohol service, may then reactivate your Pour Pass if it is determined that you are able to continue drinking.
Are the taps kept cleaned and sanitized?
You bet. The taps are monitored by Beer Ambassadors, who are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing throughout their shift. Patrons are encouraged to use a new glass for each pour, and there are glass rinsers available on the Beer Wall.
Does everyone need their own Pour Pass?
Yes. Any patron consuming alcoholic beverages is required to purchase their own drinks using their own Pour Pass. This is another way for us to ensure safe and responsible consumption. It is possible, however, to link multiple Pour Passes to the same credit card.
Can I pay with cash?
Sure. You can reload your Pour Pass with any denomination or close your tab with cash.
Can I just order drinks from a server?
No. Beer is strictly self-serve. That means never waiting to place an order or to receive your drinks. You're in complete control!
i'm pouring my own beer... do i still need to tip?
Nope. Tipping is neither required nor expected at Red Arrow Tap Room. Please, no tipping!
And don't worry—despite the lack of tips, our staff is well compensated. Unlike most bars and restaurants, Red Arrow pays staff standard (non-tipped) wages. In fact, most of our team members, including our kitchen team take home bigger paychecks than their tipped counterparts at other establishments, which means that we can be more selective about who we hire.
What about ordering food—Is that self-service, too?
It is. You can order from our delicious barbecue menu via tableside tablet or from our mobile app. Not only does this speed up the process, it also puts you in control of customizing your order to your exact specifications.
However, if you'd prefer to place your food order with a server, you can.
Can I bring the kids?
Yes! Red Arrow is a family-friendly establishment. We have a kids menu and high chairs or boosters for the little ones.
